Andrews Mentoring Celebration<\/em> on Monday, February 7, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. in the Student Union, Pegasus Ballroom<\/strong>. The University of Central Florida\u2019s Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) is an organization representative of UCF\u2019s goal to be more inclusive and diverse. The mission of BFSA is to promote an environment that fosters cultural awareness and enrichment through advocacy, mentoring, professional networking, and quality programming. The 29th Annual Joseph C. Andrews Mentoring Celebration<\/em> furthers this mission and is a recognition program that honors the power of mentoring at UCF, highlights impactful Faculty, Staff, and awards student scholarships.<\/p> Our theme is Community Excellence: \u201cNot everybody can be famous, but everybody can be great because greatness is determined by service.\u201d \u2015 Martin Luther King Jr.<\/strong><\/p> This year\u2019s keynote speaker will be Ms. Tanisha Nunn Gary, Esq.<\/strong>, who currently serves as President of the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida (AACCCF). Tanisha practiced law for 18 years prior to her current role as President of the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida.
