The UCF Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) will be hosting the 31st Annual Joseph C. Andrews Mentoring Celebration on Monday, February 3th, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. in the Student Union, Pegasus Ballroom. The mission of BFSA is to promote an environment that fosters cultural awareness and enrichment through mentoring, professional networking, and quality programming. The 31st Annual Joseph C. Andrews Mentoring Celebration furthers this mission and is a recognition program that honors the power of mentorship and community at UCF, highlights impactful Faculty, Staff, and awards student scholarships.
This year’s theme is “Cultivating Opportunities: Seizing the Moment and Shaping the Future” ― Empowering individuals to embrace present opportunities with purpose and vision, laying the foundation for a future of impactful growth and transformation.
We are thrilled to welcome Orange County Clerk of Courts Tiffany Moore Russell for a candid conversation on her journey and how she has embodied our theme of “Seizing the Moment “. Clerk Russell is a distinguished political figure who currently serves as the Orange County Clerk of Courts. Clerk Russell is a distinguished attorney, elected leader, and groundbreaking figure. She made history in November 2006 as the youngest County Commissioner elected to the Orange County Commission, serving two terms (2006-2014).
