The Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) will be hosting the 29th Annual Joseph C. Andrews Mentoring Celebration on Monday, February 7, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. in the Student Union, Pegasus Ballroom. The University of Central Florida’s Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) is an organization representative of UCF’s goal to be more inclusive and diverse. The mission of BFSA is to promote an environment that fosters cultural awareness and enrichment through advocacy, mentoring, professional networking, and quality programming. The 29th Annual Joseph C. Andrews Mentoring Celebration furthers this mission and is a recognition program that honors the power of mentoring at UCF, highlights impactful Faculty, Staff, and awards student scholarships.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Ms. Tanisha Nunn Gary, Esq., who currently serves as President of the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida (AACCCF). Tanisha practiced law for 18 years prior to her current role as President of the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida. She credits her passion for leadership and helping others for fueling her drive to push the Chamber to new heights and equip Central Florida Businesses with the tools and resources necessary to succeed.
