Faculty Excellence Award
This recognition award will honor a faculty member who is making a significant impact on our campus community. This faculty member will be honored at our annual Joseph C. Andrews Celebration. This individual should be a faculty member who demonstrates exceptional dedication to teaching, research, and service. Nominees should exhibit outstanding leadership, innovation in their field, and a commitment to fostering student success and community engagement at UCF. Selected individual MUST be a dues paid member to receive award. However, any faculty member is eligible to be nominated. Let’s celebrate those who are leading the way and making a difference at UCF!

Staff Excellence Award
This recognition award will honor a FULL-TIME staff member who is making a significant impact on our campus community. This staff member will be honored at our annual Joseph C. Andrews Celebration. This individual should be a staff member who exemplifies dedication, professionalism, and a strong commitment to supporting the mission and values of BFSA and UCF. Nominees should demonstrate exceptional leadership, innovative problem-solving, and a positive impact on the campus community. Selected individual MUST be a dues paid member to receive award. However, any staff member is eligible to be nominated. Let’s celebrate those who are leading the way and making a difference at UCF!

The InnovatHER Award (Faculty Award)
Description: This award honors a faculty member who has demonstrated outstanding contributions to academia. Through research, teaching, and service, they uplift, inspire, and push the boundaries of innovation within the institution and beyond.
Criteria:
-Full-time or part-time faculty member at the institution and BFSA dues paid member
-Demonstrates excellence in research, teaching, and service
-Actively mentors or supports students and colleagues through service
-Recognized as a role model in their academic field

The CultivatHER Award (Staff Award)
Description: This award recognizes a staff member who goes above and beyond in their role to support and uplift women in the workplace and the broader community. Their leadership, dedication, and commitment cultivate a more inclusive and empowering staff community.
Criteria:
-Full-time or part-time staff member at the institution and BFSA dues paid member
-Demonstrates a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
-Shows leadership through service, mentorship, or program development
*Award is given during Women History Month Celebrations
The TrailblazHER Award (Emerging Leader Award)
Description: This award celebrates a early-career professional who has shown exceptional promise as a leader. Their passion, innovation, and drive inspire those around them, and they actively are blazing a trail in the advancement of women in their field or community.
Criteria:
-Professional (staff or faculty) within the first five years of their professional career and BFSA Dues Paid Member
-Demonstrates leadership in initiatives that support women’s advancement
-Has made a measurable impact in their field or community through research, teaching or service
-Shows potential for continued leadership and influence
*Award is given during Women History Month Celebrations
The PiHERneer ‘Woman of the Year ‘ Award
Description: This award recognizes an extraordinary woman who exemplifies leadership, resilience, and a commitment to the advancement of women. Through her work, influence, and impact, she has made lasting contributions and stands as a pioneer in her field and community.
Criteria:
-Professional (staff or faculty) with more than 10+ years of professional experience and BFSA Dues Paid Member
-Has demonstrated exceptional leadership and service
-Has made a lasting impact in their discipline, college, or community
-Serves as an inspiration to women and allies alike

Emerging MoMENtum Award (Emerging Leader Award)
Description: Honors an emerging leader who is building momentum early in their career journey through initiative, vision, and impact. This award recognizes a rising individual who is already demonstrating the ability to lead, influence, and create meaningful change while continuing to grow into their full potential..
Criteria:
• Professional (staff or faculty) within the first five years of their professional career
•BFSA dues Paid member
• Demonstrates leadership in initiatives that support unity and advancement
• Has made a measurable impact in their field or community through research, teaching or service
• Shows potential for continued leadership and influence

Service MoMENtum (Staff) Award
Description: Honors a staff member whose dedication and consistent contributions help move the mission of the institution forward. Often working behind the scenes, this individual creates impact through reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting others.
Criteria:
• Full-time or part-time staff member at the institution
• BFSA dues paid member
• Demonstrates a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
• Shows leadership through service, mentorship, or program development

Academic MoMENtum (Faculty) Award
Description: Recognizes a faculty member who is advancing knowledge, mentorship, and student success through excellence in teaching and scholarship. This individual is actively shaping the academic experience while fostering growth, critical thinking, and opportunity for those they serve.
Criteria:
• Full-time or part-time faculty member at the institution
•BFSA dues paid member
• Demonstrates excellence in research, teaching, and service
• Actively mentors or supports students and colleagues through service
• Recognized as a role model in their academic field

Legacy MoMENtum “Man of the Year” Award
Description: Celebrates a seasoned professional whose sustained leadership and influence have created lasting momentum over time. This award recognizes a career marked by impact, mentorship, and a legacy of uplifting others while driving meaningful progress.
Criteria:
• Professional (staff or faculty) with more than 10+ years of professional experience
•BFSA Dues Paid Member
• Has demonstrated exceptional leadership and service
• Has made a lasting impact in their discipline, college, or community
• Serves as an inspiration to Men and allies alike
