The Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) will be hosting the 30th Annual Joseph C. Andrews Mentoring Celebration on Tuesday, February 6th, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. in the Student Union, Pegasus Ballroom. The University of Central Florida’s Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) is an organization representative of UCF’s goal to be more inclusive and diverse. The mission of BFSA is to promote an environment that fosters cultural awareness and enrichment through mentoring, professional networking, and quality programming. The 30th Annual Joseph C. Andrews Mentoring Celebration furthers this mission and is a recognition program that honors the power of community at UCF, highlights impactful Faculty, Staff, and awards student scholarships.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Terry Prather. Mr. Prather is a distinguished figure who currently serves as the Board Chair for Visit Orlando and the Chairman of the Board for Dr. Phillips Charities. With over 29 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, Mr. Prather is a celebrated tourism executive.
